Wishing for Sunny Spring

Now, these pictures were taken while I was back in India, where in my city the sun always shines and the warmth always stays..but..but..but..I am not saying being back in Brussels I complain of the cold too much especially because I skipped most of the winter here while basking-in the Sun in India :-) I look forward to a warmer, sunnier spring here in Brussels (What's one got to lose to wish for good things, never know when they'll come true, right? ;-))

Street style

Street style is the best feast to someone who breathes, eats and lives fashion. I adore to say the least how people make an effort to adorn themselves with creativity. Wearing clothes or rather good looking clothes or interesting clothes or just the fact that someone just stands out is not just about the clothes itself but also the attitude that shines through. Someone could be dressed in all designer wear head to toe or just in high street brands or maybe even label less clothing but what could make it interesting is the way they'd carry it off. It's an art. I. Love. it.

I will slowly get the street style section into my blog. Just gotta start clicking.

Dolce vita!

The Fashion weeks are in vogue and it's raining Fashion and boy! It's one helluva rain that all fashion addicts are happy about. It's super exciting to see all the fashion flowing through.

The Dolce and Gabbana Fall/Winter 2013-2014 is something that just caught my attention. For the boldness and intricate detailing. They are inspired by the Byzantine era. I am a big Fan of theirs and their perfect attention to detail. This collection seems like the epitome of luxe and glamour.

Here are some of the pictures from their Fall/Winter show.

Here is what I chose to do :-)

Speaking of Photography....Robert Doisneau.

In my last post I spoke about Bryan Adams' talent branching out to different forms of Art. I love photography, as in I am still technically challenged when it comes to taking them but I love seeing pictures. They bring out so many emotions when one takes a look at them.

So it brings me to one of my favorite photographers, Robert Doisneau. This French photographer captured Paris like one would want to see it. He showed Paris to people who hadn't been to Paris but would dream of being there. You can live in the pictures he captured. Of daily life and casual settings. It's such a treat to see, at least for me :-)

Just some of the pictures from Robert Doisneau. Through his pictures one can sense his passion for his Art. It is truly a feast for the mind and the heart.

Art in all splendid forms.

Bryan Adams has been and will always be a favorite of mine. His songs have been a part of my teen years and still continue through my latter part of adulthood.

His talent hasn't just confined to music but now, photography. His book Bryan Adams Exposed contains some splendid pictures.

Here are some of them. Courtesy: Vogue Paris.

The NRW Forum in Düsseldorf will present portraits Book ExposedBryan Adams as well as photographs of his work around the British soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan from February 2 to May 22, 2013.
